I  missed this when it aired March 11, but it’s a striking bit of television: An extended attack by Lou Dobbs on Barack Obama.Dobbs plays, a couple of times, Obama’s riff on illegal immigration (which is virtually identical to that of everybody who backed comprehensive immigration reform), and his line that people hear “Lou Dobbs talking about how we oughta send ‘em all back.”"You owe me an apology because you have distorted my position,” Dobbs tells Obama, whom he calls a “world-class panderer.”"Lou Dobbs Tonight has never advocated mass deportations” says Dobbs correspondent Casey Wian, though at another point in the segment, Dobbs argues that that mass deportation is, in fact, feasible.”It is within our capacity,” Dobbs says. “This country can do whatever it sets its mind to doing.”
