The Journal’s op-ed page runs a piece calling on Obama to embrace his Muslim ancestry because, obviously, the editorial board is so sensitive to Muslim civil rights.
More seriously: It’s interesting to watch conservatives develop more sophisticated, bank-shot attacks on Obama’s identity, as the potential for backlash against direct attacks lingers. This Dick Morris column was a masterpiece of the genre, accusing Obama of bringing up the smears against him.
