In what Ambinder points out is the first campaign contrast ad of the general election cycle, McCain hits Obama as a newcomer to the causes of Hispanics on Spanish radio.
While McCain has "a great history of supporting us," says the narrator, an old McCain friend, "the other candidate just discovered the importance of the Hispanic vote."
"I know that for John, this isn’t political — it comes from his heart," says the ad.
