The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, buoyed by polls showing challenger Kay Hagan gaining in North Carolina, is walloping Sen. Elizabeth Dole for coming back to DC for a fundraiser tonight.
"[I]f she seriously expects the people of North Carolina to re-elect her she should think about spending a little more time in the state she wants to represent," said DSCC flack Matt Miller.
