Craig Robinson, brother of Michelle Obama, and, perhaps more importantly today, Oregon State University’s basketball coach, told the NYT this week: "I want players to know that I’m recruiting them to play basketball at Oregon State and, to the extent that my network can help them after college, if you come play for me, you’re part of my network. I think people can figure that out without me hitting them over the head with it."
First up, Capitol Hill tour. (Obama’s not in the WH yet.)
He and his team have been spotted all over the Hill today getting that tour.
"A debate came as to who was giving them a tour," a spy says, as the gang was spotted on the third floor of the Hart building, but Obama’s Senate office is not located there. But, just to keep everyone calm, it was Obama’s office.
The staffer who gave them the tour tells us that everyone’s favorite part — per usual! — was whispering in Statuary Hall.
"I overheard one them say, they have a tour, then lunch, then practice, then a game," a spy tattles. The team is in town to play Howard University, which appears to take place tomorrow.
The gang went relatively incognito — aside from a few janitors and one person with some posters in hand to sign.
"Everyone had a great time," the tour guide/Obama Senate staffer assured Shenanigans. We’re sure they did.
