“What Just Happened.”

It’s a movie. Based on a book. (Not that book. Scott McClellan’s book is merely “What Happened.” And it’s much too soon for a movie version.) This movie has nothing to do with D.C. but yet there was a showing last night for a select few, by hosts: Glover Park Group, Politico, Navigators and Magnolia Productions.

Conveniently, the title could also be uttered after having too many “Hollywood Martinis” (Vodka, Black Raspberry Liquor and Pineapple Juice and garnished with slices of fresh pineapple) that were served last night thanks be to the open bar.

So. Who? The usual out and about gang: Navigators’ Todd Harris, GPG’s Michael Feldman, best buds NBC’s Betsy Fischer and TamCam’s Tammy Haddad with the TamCam in full effect, GPG’s Tracy Sefl and the Politico crew, including a very still Mike Allen and Jonathan Martin, who was in an internet free zone. Rarities all.

As Harris, Todd* said last night (h/t Playbook): “It’s about power and money and greed and stabbing your competitors in the back and I thought, ‘I have a love of friends who’d like to see this.’”

*not to be confused with Politico Main Man; Harris, John.
