A big win for the environmentalists

This is, as JMart notes, as big a deal as most cabinet picks, and will have real impact on Obama’s ability to push through his agenda: The environmental movement beat the auto industry in the Democratic caucus, and replaced Michigan’s John Dingell as Energy and Commerce Chairman with California’s Henry Waxman.
